I'm looking to play just about any character HERE. I'd love a post-DH (especially for Ginny and Hermione) game or a First War game for my older characters (especially Bella and Rosmerta). But I'm open to anything if the game's interesting and there's plot-a-plenty! Poke me and we'll chat! Also I'd like to find a Charlie Weasley to play against my HESTIA JONES! *What I'm looking for in a game is activity and quality. I like at least 10 characters before I join. Although I will certainly consider new games that have fewer characters as long as the mods and players are dedicated. I'm not really fond of AU games, but if it's really really good, I'll consider it. I am a canon whore. No joke. I love the lexicon.
*What I'm not looking for in a game pretty much follows the usual: mean people, bad grammar, crap spelling, netspeak, inactivity, etc etc.

Well, my name is Le! I'm a 22 year old child development major (don't let that fool you, my minor is creative writing!) with excellent grammar and spelling! I'm very active, very friendly, and have been a roleplayer for more than half my life. (Sad, I know, but it keeps me entertained!) Since the dawn of time they've been blamed for all of life's oddities. A strange noise? It must be a ghost. Pets mangled and eaten? Maybe a werewolf got them. That pale man that never ventures out in the day? A vampire, surely. Children behaving badly must be changelings, and that table had to have been forced into your path by a mischievous sprite, now giggling at your misfortune. The list goes on. For each being, there are hundreds of tales, most pure delusion of course, though much of it based in fact. From Nessie and Sasquatch to the Bermuda Triangle and the Land of Mu, our world is filled with the unattainable, the unexplainable... that which we call Myth, or Legend. Yet, like the Will O' the Wisp, or the ghost breath that sends a shiver down your spine, the truth tugs softly at our conscience. We've been around since 2004, but now that there won't be any more new canon to throw us for a loop, we've decided to start over with a clean slate. The Cure didn't work. So the government decided to step in and put it up a notch. The Mutant Registration Act was finally passed. All mutants are required to carry IDs stating their mutation or they would be arrested for breaking the law. Separate prisons were built for mutant criminals. The use of mutant powers in public not only incited riots, but now carries a minimum prison sentence of fifteen days.

The great activist of mutant rights, Charles Xavier is dead. Erik Lensherr is back, powerful then ever, with a new Brotherhood of Mutants behind him. The future looks like a bleak place to be for mutants, but Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters flourishes under Ororo Munroe, the new Headmistress. She, along with the mutant only known as Logan, educate the young mutants of tomorrow and provide a beacon of hope to the mutant community.

Xtended: An X-Men RPG is a movieverse game that pick up where X-Men: The Last Stand, left off. It began with prosthetics...

Ways to repair humans physiological functions, augmented or replaced, by electronic or electromechanical components. By rewiring nerves, or flexing another muscle, one was able to control a bionic appendage that made it possible to live a normal life. That opened the floodgates to approving Stem Cell research, generic cells that can make copies of themselves, and eventually those geneticists learned ways to not only create organs.. but skin. Brain matter. Emotions.

Many people didn't think it was possible to create an artificial person, and have it perform human tasks as efficiently as someone trained all their life to do the same job. Sentient machines, Bionic Technology, and Human-like "robots" increasingly took on the less extravagant occupations of man. It was a concept that slowly made its way into the minds and lives of the world. Most notably, Japan where it flourished and was refined into a scientific art form. It was believed that one could make a unit think. And they did.

ORACLE is turning one year old today!
Join us in our celebration. We've recently moved to CommieJournal and started over as a canon-compliant game. You have the chance to play important characters with no additional backstory, like with brand-new games, but you also have the security of a long-running game with committed, experienced mods. Oracle takes place in the year 2000, just a year and a half after Voldemort's defeat. We know what the future has in store for our characters in this canon-compliant game. The rocky road they'll take to that future is the real story and that's entirely up to you.

In a world of mutant decimation and superhero registration, Cable brought together a new X-Force team to work for his vision of a better world in ways that the X-Men, as a publicly known and registered team, can no longer operate. To keep the team undercover from the cape killers, he also recruited super-musicians, bringing together the Resistance Tour, a controversial mutant rock tour. Balancing a cover job as part of a high profile celebrity entourage and covert operations to protect mutants from those who fear and hate them is all in a day's work when you're part of a Tour de Force.

Oracle - a Post-War Harry Potter RPG

Oracle is a post-war Harry Potter RPG set in 2000.

In a world without a Dark Lord, the Ministry of Magic appears to be the greatest threat to the citizens it serves. Oracle takes place only a year-and-a-half after Death Eaters seized control of the Ministry, imprisoning muggleborns. In their eagerness to leave that inauspicious past behind them, the Ministry has begun testing a new interdepartmental communications system using computers, hoping to appear progressive and muggle-friendly. Several of their employees, even war heroes and Death Eaters, have been given computers as part of the experiment. Oracle follows these characters' lives as they struggle to transform the Wizarding World into one that was worth saving.

Oracle is a drama-free haven for talented writers.

Oracle originally began in February of 2007 and lasted until December of that year before we decided to move to a new server and start over as a canon-compliant game. You can find version 1.0 here if you're interested, but it's not necessary and version 2.0 is, of course, very different. Oracle provides you the unique opportunity to join a new game that has no back story and very few taken characters, while still giving you the stability of an established game. We put an emphasis on quality and have no tolerance for OOC drama or poorly conceived Mary Sues.

The world was as it was a place where the balance of good and evil was always being swayed. Individuals known to have amazing strengths were always exulted for their never ending battle against those that never stopped causing havoc on the face of the earth. They were referred to as heroes.

Unfortunately, just as there were those who looked upon the heroes in exultation, there were those who considered them a plague who only infested the world with more evil. It was them who began experimentations and highly classified projects in weaponry to take the duty of bringing justice to the world back. Whether it was them who struck first or the latter, parallel universes began to merge into. People, places, and even justice itself seemed to have taken a tip down a hill. Through all this chaos everyone began to loose hope as new villains began to take over the streets and the undergrounds. No one could stop the end from coming but them.
Heroes from both dimensions began to sprout out realizing what had occurred. Although they were dispersed in different places they all held the same goal: stop evil on its tracks. Many looked upon each other as enemies or rivals. Some were called ‘The Justice League’ while others called themselves the ‘Avengers’. Differences and conflicts between heroes were giving the villains more time to recuperate. Could there be peace long enough to rid the world of chaos… this is where our story begins…

As a player, you will have to choose what side you’re on- a villain or a hero? You will have a great range of any Marvel or DC characters from any fandom. It will be up to you to decide if teaming up or staying separated is the key. Remember, the world’s fate lies in your hands after all…

Arpeggio is run by a woman named Chelsie. Chelsie has recently decided to lash out and send degrading e-mails to the majority of the people she formally played with, for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

Chelsie is also known for having sent threatening e-mails to her members of a previous game when plots did not go exactly as she wanted them to.

From one player to another, I recommend those interested in this game stop and think about what you might be getting yourself involved in. Chelsie is looking for an outlet for her anger, and I can only imagine what you as members will go through.
